Ripple Mental Health Live Demo Harmful Content Reporting

Harmful online content puts vulnerable people at risk every day. The Ripple Community Reporter is how you can help change that.

But first, a few words about the Ripple organisation:

Ripple technology identifies search terms related to self-harm and suicide, and intercepts them with a message of hope. It then guides people towards free mental health support, while keeping their privacy.

Alice Hendy MBE is the funder of the organisation, and a tech-for-good pioneer and suicide prevention advocate. Through Ripple Suicide Prevention Charity and Ripple for Business, she empowers organisations and individuals with crisis intervention technology that transforms harmful online searches into moments of hope and life-saving support.

The Ripple Community Reporter is a new browser extension that lets you report concerning content directly to the Ripple team, quickly and securely. Every report helps us strengthen our response to online risks and make the internet safer for everyone.

Next Wednesday, Alice Hendy MBE and David Savage will show you how it works in a live demonstration.
